Picture
studio study, oil, 6x6, 'Ski Cat'
I spotted a strange site at the Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Wyoming this weekend. If it wasn't for his tail hanging out Abstra-Cat would be incognito. Did you know a cat's tail is an extension of their spine? The tail gives a cat balance and grace when running after and leaping on prey. Now I know why 'Ski Cat' had an advantage over me on the slopes Saturday. I need a tail!

The monochromatic (one color with tint and shade) painting has a splash of orange for emphasis.
